Connected Learning Advisory Service
The Connected Learning Advisory Service helps school and TAFE teachers make the most of information and communication technologies (ICT) in their classrooms.
Information and communication technologies are an integral part of the modern world. Using ICT across the curriculum not only motivates students but also gives them opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for life in the 21st century.
The school and TAFE versions of CLAS have two main parts:
The Using ICT Framework and online self-assessment tool (MyMap) help teachers evaluate how they use ICT for teaching and learning. Teachers can create their own log of evidence of ICT capability and identify aspects of their practice for further development.
The Learning Pathways provide links to examples of what other teachers are doing, online resources and professional learning activities to help teachers explore new strategies for use with their students.
