Videoconferencing Masterclass
In this resource Jan Zanetis discusses the introduction of videoconferencing into our schools and classrooms. Jan is the Global Marketing Manager for Education for Tandberg, a videoconferencing technology company.
Jan was a keynote speaker at a Connected Classrooms conference in Sydney in May 2008, advising on the introduction of videoconferencing technology into educational environments. Videoconferencing is a key component of the New South Wales Government’s Interactive Classrooms Project, which will equip every NSW public school with an interactive classroom (interactive whiteboard, videoconferencing facility and data collaboration).

She emphasises the importance of matching our curriculum needs to appropriate content providers and warns that planning is required for a high level of student engagement.
